At the Havanese Breed Society UK, we recognise the versatility of the breed as a pet, therapy, and show dog. Our core aims are to improve the health and temperament of the breed and protect the breed. We welcome members who share our core aims, whether you are a breeder or pet owner.

This society was set up by a passionate group of Havanese fanciers, all of whom share the aim of an inclusive society to protect and further the breed.
With a collective commitment to the breed, we are applying for Royal Kennel Club (RKC) affiliation so that our voice is heard. With circa 350 Havanese being registered per year in the UK, there is a need for a second Havanese club in the UK, that is focused on owners and ensuring the RKC Health Standard is implemented a d expanded on to protect and improve the breed.
